Operation Warm is a program where brand new, high-quality winter coats are provided to students for free.  Operation Warm’s mission has always been focused on the whole child.  While to most of us it seems like just a coat, it is much more.  The coats provide warmth, confidence, and hope.

Northwood Elementary was excited to have volunteers from the Anchorage Firefighter Charitable Foundation, Matson and Nuvision at Northwood to ensure all students (PreK-5) receive a new coat for winter!

Our students also got a chance to get up close with Firetruck Engine 7 from Station 7.
